A comprehensive understanding of legal ecosystem

Mr. Pham Dinh Thuong has a PhD degree in international trade and LLB in corporate law. He was Deputy Director General, Legal Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade from 2011 to 2017 and has fifteen years of experience in drafting laws and regulations on trade, e-commerce, corporate and competition. He was team leader of the Legal Group of Vietnam Government Negotiation Delegation participating FTAs between Vietnam/ASEAN and other country partners from 2007 – 2017. 

With a wealth of consulting experience in investment projects, major M&A transactions, and the promotion of  international trade activities, Mr. Thuong is well-versed in trade, investment, competition, trade remedies, and  dispute settlement.

Mr. Nam was graduated in law and international commerce at various universities and institutions both domestically and abroad. He formerly served as Deputy Head of the Central Committee for External Relations (2020-1/2025), Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Can Tho City (2014-2020), and a Member of the National Competition Council (2012-2014). He also held key positions as Director General of several departments and agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, including Multilateral Trade Policy, Legal Affairs, Domestic Market, and Market Surveillance. Additionally, he was a member of the Government’s Negotiation Delegation and the chief negotiator for several free trade agreement

Mr. Phuong graduated with Ph.D. from Ho Chi Minh Economic University, he has more than 10 years of working for foreign companies in different industries. In addition to laws, he also supports PBK’s clients in finding partners. Many big business marriage deals get successful with his contribution.

Mr. Dao Xuan Thuy was a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Foreign Trade University. With 13 years of teaching and research experience in international business law, corporate law, contract law, customs law and dispute resolution, he also regularly supports training and consulting for domestic and foreign enterprises in relevant legal fiel

Ms. Linh is a seasoned professional with nearly 10 years of experience in international trade and public  sector stakeholder management. With a strong background in research and analysis, she is well-versed in  conducting in-depth evaluations of legal and public policies, and in developing effective advocacy strategies across  multiple industries.

Throughout her career, Ms. Linh has held key positions that have allowed her to make significant contributions to  her field. She spent five years at the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Vietnam as the lead coordinator of the UK-  Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, where she was responsible for overseeing the implementation of the agreement  and ensuring Vietnam’s compliance with its trade-in-good commitments in various multilateral trade regimes.  She was also an active member of drafting committees for several decrees and circulars related to rules of origin  and import-export procedures.

Ms. Linh holds a Master’s degree in Jurisprudence (Corporate Law) from Indiana University in the United States,  and a Bachelor’s degree from Hanoi Foreign Trade University.

Ms. Luu Huong Trang has extensive experience in economic consulting and research. She has  worked at the OECD, the International Labor Organization, and the Stockholm Environment  Institute. She has contributed to a variety of reports and publications on topics such as  greening enterprises, decarbonizing Latin America and the Caribbean, sustainable agriculture,  and the labor impact of greening the transport sector. Trang is also an experienced Teaching  Assistant at the University of Geneva, where she teaches Labor Economics and Introduction  to Econometrics.

Ms. Trang holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from the Graduate Institute of  International and Development Studies, where she was awarded a Credit Suisse Full  Scholarship.

Mr. Tran Viet Phuong is a seasoned consultant and auditor with over 20 years of experience  in his field. He has worked with leading consulting firms such as KPMG and Big-4, specializing  in areas such as tax, finance, accounting, internal control, risk management, and M&A. Mr.  Phuong has extensive experience leading auditing engagements for clients in various  industries, including banks, finance companies, securities companies, and fund managers.  He has also contributed to the development of the Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS)  and the Vietnamese Financial Reporting Standards (VFRS) as part of the Ministry of Finance’s  project team.

Mr. Phuong holds a PhD in Finance and holds several international certificates such as ACCA,  CPA, CIA, and IRM.

Mr. Hoa graduated with LLM from Melbourne University, Australia. He has 10 years of experience at central government agencies and more than 5 years of experience in big law firms, named Russin and Vecchi, SMIC. He leads issues relating to Commercial Law, Competition Law, Business Law and Industrial regulations.
